1. Why should I have my wheelie bin cleaned?

Over time, bins collect bacteria, mold, maggots, and unpleasant odors from waste. Regular cleaning removes grime, sanitizes surfaces, and helps prevent pest infestations.

2. How often should my bin be cleaned?

Most customers choose a monthly clean to keep odors and bacteria under control. However, bins that store food waste may benefit from fortnightly cleaning, especially during warmer months.

3. What does the wheelie bin cleaning service include?

My service includes:

• High-pressure washing inside and out
• Eco-friendly disinfectant and deodorizer
• Removal of grime and waste residue
• Deodorising sanitisation spray for freshness

4. Do I need to be home when you clean my bin?

No — as long as your bin is accessible (for example, placed at the curb after collection), I can clean it and leave it fresh and sanitized, and put it back for you.

5. Is your cleaning process environmentally friendly?

Yes! I use eco-friendly cleaning agents  recycling to minimize environmental impact. My process ensures no dirty water enters drains or the environment, all collected in my wastewater tank in the van. 

6. Can you clean all types of bins?

Yes, I clean residential bins of all sizes — including general waste, recycling,organic bins and not forgetting your kitchen bins if you wish for a small fee! 

7. What if my bin is damaged or has waste inside?

I can still clean bins with some residue, but bins containing uncollected rubbish will need to be emptied first. If a bin is broken or unsafe to handle, i'll notify you before proceeding.

8. How do I book a bin cleaning service?

You can book online, over the phone, or by email. Simply provide your address, collection day, and preferred cleaning frequency — i'll take care of the rest.

9. How much does it cost to clean?

Residential services are £4per bin per clean with a 4 weekly service or £6 for a one off clean.  

10. What areas do you cover?

I provide bin cleaning services across [Bexhill on Sea, Hastings, St Leonards on Sea and surrounds]. Contact me to check availability if outside this area. 

11. What happens if my bin isn’t out on cleaning day?

If your bin is not accessible, I'll notify you and attempt to reschedule for the next available slot. Missed appointments due to inaccessibility may still be charged. 

12. Do you clean bins in winter or bad weather?

Yes, I operate year-round. However, in cases of extreme weather (like ice or heavy snow), I may reschedule your clean for safety reasons.
